Delete Your Data

Short version: You don't have to delete your whole Thrum account to remove specific data — you can clear your swipe history, remove a single match, or delete a note you wrote, all from inside the app. Want everything gone instead? See deleting your account.

Clear your swipe history

  1. Open Thrum and sign in.
  2. Tap your profile picture, then tap History.
  3. Tap Clear history at the bottom of the list.
  4. Confirm.

This removes every movie/show you've liked or passed on in that pairing — a fresh start, without touching your account, matches, or notes.

Remove a single match

  1. Open the Matches tab.
  2. Tap the match you want to remove.
  3. Tap Unmatch, then confirm.

The title moves back to "passed" in your history and drops out of your shared matches — everything else is untouched.

Delete a note

  1. On a match, tap 💬 Notes.
  2. Tap Delete under your own note.

Only your own note is removed — a partner's note on the same title, if they left one, is theirs and stays.

Can't open the app?

Email thrummoviefinder@gmail.com from the address associated with your account, tell us what you'd like removed, and we'll take care of it.

Retention

All of the above take effect immediately — nothing is held back on a delay, and there's no way to undo it once confirmed.
