Help with Thrum — find a movie, together.
Contact: Email thrummoviefinder@gmail.com with any question, bug report, or feedback. Thrum is built and supported by one person, so replies may take a day or two — but every email gets read and answered.
Common questions
How do matches work?
Everyone in a group swipes on their own time. The moment everyone has liked the same movie or show, it becomes a match and everyone gets notified — no need to be swiping at the same time.
Why don't I see a title I'm looking for?
Thrum filters the deck to what's actually available on the streaming services you've selected. Open Settings to double-check which services are turned on, or add more if you have access to them.
How do I change my streaming services or mood filters?
Tap your profile picture in the top corner, then use the Settings or Mood Filters options to update your streaming services, genres, and other preferences at any time.
I'm not getting push notifications for matches or notes.
Check that notifications are enabled for Thrum in your device's system settings. If they're on and you're still not seeing them, email us with your account email so we can look into it.
The app is stuck loading or acting strangely.
Force-quit the app and reopen it. If that doesn't help, check for a Thrum update in the App Store, and confirm you have a stable internet connection — a spotty connection can look like a stuck app.
How do I leave a pairing or group?
Open the group from the Pairings screen and use the leave option there. Your own notes and history stay with you; the rest of the group's matches and data are unaffected.
